My Trip to Washington DC

It’s not everyday you get asked to speak in front of the presidents of universities like Notre Dame, Loras College, or your very own alma mater at the Irish Ambassador’s residence, right in the heart of your nation’s capitol.

And yet, in February of 2024, I got to start off the year doing just that, standing behind the same podium that senators, congressmen, and presidents have, talking about my experience as an Irish - American Masters student in Ireland.

Not bad for a first time trip to D.C.
