Excited to announce my involvement on the Steering Committee for the 2025 Chicago Irish Film Festival.
“The Chicago Irish Film Festival has been dedicated to presenting the works of Irish filmmakers since 1999. We open for Chicago audiences a window into the color and complexity of Irish life. Contemporary Irish films bring the lyrical and self-reflective richness of a long artistic tradition to bear on unique stories and pressing social issues with a gaze both critical and loving.”
CIFF is one of the biggest Irish Film Festivals in North America (and definitely the coolest) and to me, represents coming full circle on my journey in celebrating and promoting Irish film stemming all the way back to my work in 2023 with Catalyst International Film Festival back in Limerick.
To think that last year I was attending the festival as an audience member, and now am helping craft an unforgettable experience for the festivals 26th year… What a gift.
